We are beginning a formative study on postpartum depression in Cook County
Margaret Butler, a doctoral student in the Department of Anthropology at Northwestern University and a member of the Young Research Group, is currently recruiting participants for her pilot study: A Retrospective Examination of Postpartum Depression Experiences Among Chicagoland Mothers (IRB: STU00210495).
We would love you to participate if you…
- Are over the age of 18
- Live in Cook County, Illinois
- Have a child under the age of 2 years
- Have had experiences with depression (does not need to be diagnosed) before, during, or after this child was born
The interview can take place at a location of your choice and will take between 1-2 hours.
Participants who complete the interview will be compensated with $25 cash for their time and participation. Participants may withdraw from the study at any point in time.
