Oooooh, SNAP!

Many of our Singida Nutrition and Agroecology Project (SNAP) team members were able to reunite at the McKnight Foundation’s annual Collaborative Crop Research Community of Practice meeting in Arusha. SNAP investigators there included Clara Mollay and Ika Martin from Nelson Mandela University, Elias Mtinda from Action Aid Tanzania, and Vicky Santoso and I, from Cornell. We had a terrific time learning about other agroecological studies and finalizing the details for our SNAP baseline survey launch in January 2016. And we all enjoyed Vicky’s terrific presentation on the formative work to date on the relationships between gender equity, food insecurity, and infant feeding in Singida, Tanzania. Even the heavens approved!
